Why American News Annoys Me
I think we, as a country, need to realize what is news… and what is not.
- Colombian leader says Mexicans helped rebels
- Bolivians sue ex-president in U.S. over deaths
- Thousands flee erupting Colombian volcano
- Naomi Campbell turned down for blood drive
(for anyone who didn’t pick up on it… Naomi Campbell not being allowed to donate blood is not newsworthy. I’m not even sure if it’s gossip-worthy.)

Late-Night Ponderings
I always find it strange that the big questions in life always seem to be discussed at night. Something about the end of the day always makes us wonder: Who are we? Why are we here? How are we going to fix the problems handed down to us by the previous generation. But then again, sometimes late-night questions take a different turn:
me: do you think it would be hazardous to wear christmas lights that are plugged in?
Kaydi: no, as long as you don’t run too far

I went to the Warhol over break. It was way cool (floating balloons), way creepy (stuffed dog and lion), and in general, rather surreal.
